Scholarships and Financial Aid

AdA is not a government recognised learning institution. Regular scholarships are mostly not available for students. There are however lots of private outlets dedicated to helping fund artists and their endeavours. Every student must view the options available to him. It will vary by nationality. AdA will also conduct research regarding study financing possibilities and keep you informed of the findings.

AdA is applying for ARC recognition so AdA students that follow the full-time program can enter for the Art Renewal Center’s annual scholarship competition. The ARC Awards $30,000 a year to students attending ARC Approved Schools™ to aid with their continued education

Another possibility is the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation. The Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation grant is one of the most prestigious grants available to emerging figurative artists, as well as one of the most substantial. It is one of the longest standing, with an illustrious history of recipients spanning more than half a century. It is also unique in its scope, in that it is available to students and artists around the world. Grants are made directly to the beneficiaries, not to or through other organisations. Joke Frima, founder of AdA received a grant from the Greenshields Foundation in 1977/78. https://www.elizabethgreenshieldsfoundation.org/
