le Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan

Vissingy is situated in the magnificent Morvan in the Nièvre department of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in central France. It is an exceptional rural setting, easy to access by car and only two hours by train from Paris and Lyon. Geneva, Genoa, Florence, Barcelona and more are within reach by train, car or plane.

Heritage, history and mystery

The Morvan Regional Natural Park is a land of heritage, history and mystery. An untouched and wild landscape with stunning panoramas where you can revel in the space and silence. The Morvan is a green paradise with peaceful countryside, Charolais cows, huge and beautiful forests, great lakes and waterways. Rich in history and tradition, there is plenty to discover from Vézelay and Bibracte, the Cluny Priory at Charité-sur-Loire and for outdoor lovers there is walking, VTT, horse riding, sailing, fishing and even wild water rapids to conquer!

Accommodation

Because the ADA atelier school is located in a very rural environment, the association has found temporary accommodation for a limited number of students in the hamlet of Vissingy. There is a variety of accommodation to suit all budgets available nearby but it is essential to have your own means of transport.

Advantage

A big advantage of the rural environment is that the accommodation is much more affordable than in a city. For the same reason, the school is able to charge a modest tuition fee.

Art and nature

The students will enjoy total immersion in art and nature, taking daily inspiration from the space and silence of the surrounding countryside They will experience nature first hand and the wild beauty of the landscape.

The students will be able to focus primarily on the study of drawing and painting.
